CAS Severn has been chosen to speak at the 11th Annual MEEC Member Conference and Vendor Showcase at the Martin’s West on March 28.
Mark Belluz, CAS Severn Director and Team Lead, will introduce concepts for merging on-premise compute, storage, data protection and DR with Cloud. Hybrid cloud strategies from both a hardware and software perspective will be examined, including recent local projects conducted by the CAS Severn team and pending projects. Use cases will be presented around hybrid cloud for VMs, file storage, data protection and backup, DR and archive. Looking at these projects from a cost, ROI, and TCO perspective, as well as security perspective will also be touched on. The presentation will be at 10:30 a.m. in the Maryland B room.
The MEEC Member Conference and Vendor Showcase has attendance of 400+ Members and over 75 Vendors. The Conference includes a keynote speaker, Rob Curtin, Director, Higher Education – Microsoft, as well as concurrent breakout sessions about technology topics, the Vendor Showcase and networking opportunities.
